Course, budgetary challenges. At the center of all this, is admiral john reich ardson richardson who, since september, has served in the capacity as the 31st chief of Naval Operations. He is a 1982 graduate of the u. S. Naval academy and a Career Navy Submarine officer. He served on several boats, and he commanded the uss honolulu. He served as commodore of submarine Development Squadron submarine group eight as commander of the submarine allied naval forces south, as commander of Naval Submarine forces and as director of naval reactors. Admiral richardson will discuss the u. S. Navys role in this Global Maritime environment. He will lay out his strategic guidance to the fleet and how the u. S.
