A careful analysis of the health sector before the advent of Governor Yahaya Bello’s administration shows that the sector was characterized by gross inadequate healthcare facilities exemplified by the insufficient number of healthcare facilities, poor infrastructure, inadequate manpower, and an almost non-existent drug supply.
