(John Benson/cleveland.com) Facebook Share LAKEWOOD, Ohio During a normal construction season, Lakewood could spend upward of $1.5 million on resurfacing roughly half a dozen streets. However, in 2021, the city is earmarking those funds toward two important projects. “This year, the majority of the $1.5 million is going into the Detroit-Sloane pedestrian safety improvements project and also the design of the Hilliard Road resurfacing from Riverside Drive to Warren Road coming in 2022,” Lakewood City Engineer Mark K. Papke said. ....
