25 Horwitz was selected by the Forward as one of the most inspiring rabbis in North America. Rabbi Daniel S. Horwitz, a product of the Metro Detroit Jewish community, has been hired by Adat Shalom Synagogue in Farmington Hills.  “I’m incredibly excited to have the opportunity to return home in order to join the Adat Shalom community,” Horwitz said in a statement from the synagogue. “In addition to having the chance to work alongside world-class colleagues and committed lay leaders, as someone who thrives on being in meaningful relationships with others, I’m excited to connect (and in some cases, reconnect) deeply with those who make up the Adat Shalom family.”

Michigan Institute for Neurological Disorders hires media veteran as new CEO Kevin Browett The Michigan Institute for Neurological Disorders has named Kevin Browett, the publisher and founder of SEEN Magazine, as its new CEO. Browett s new role at the Farmington Hills-based health care company is effective immediately, according to a Thursday news release. In his new job, Browett is tasked with overseeing the neurology practice s four locations in Michigan and its more than 25 providers. The organization offers MRI, infusion, pain management, diagnostic testing and specialty centers focused on conditions such as Multiple Sclerosis and Parkinson s Disease. We have grown as a company and found we to needed have an experienced leader to take us forward, strengthen our organization and execute the strategies necessary to better serve our patients, William Boudouris, M.D. and president of the company, said in the release.
