A young woman in New Hampshire was arrested on Wednesday after sending death threats to the chair of the Wayne County Board of Canvassers in November.
The FBI says Katelyn Jones, 23, sent images of a naked, bloodied corpse and additional threats regarding the daughter and husband of a Michigan election official.
During her arrest, court filings from the DOJ allege that Jones admitted to sending the threatening messages and photos.

Threats included pictures of naked, mutilated bodies and pictures of Palmer s own daughter.
The suspect, Katelyn Jones, apparently lives in Michigan, but was on vacation in Epping, NH when she was brought into custody. Her mugshot does not appear to be publicly available. A criminal complaint was filed yesterday against a resident of Epping, New Hampshire for sending threatening communications to the chair of the Wayne County Board of Canvassers (Adult Victim-1), announced United States Attorney Matthew Schneider.

Federal prosecutors on Dec. 23 filed charges against a New Hampshire woman who allegedly threatened the chairwoman of Michigan’s Wayne County Board of Canvassers following the presidential election.
Katelyn Jones, 23, was charged with threatening violence through interstate commerce after an FBI investigation, officials said in a news release.
An FBI affidavit filed in court made references to Jones’s alleged threats against Monica Palmer, chairwoman of the Wayne County Board of Canvassers, after Palmer, a Republican, voted against certifying the county’s election results, according to the Detroit News.
“The allegations in this case should make all of us disgusted,” U.S. Attorney Matthew Schneider said in a statement about the charges. “There is simply no place in Michigan, or in the United States, for chilling threats like this to people who are simply doing what they believe is correct.�
