Four arrested in PA with guns, ski-type masks FacebookTwitterEmail (Dreamstime/TNS)Dreamstime, HO Port Arthur Police Department has reported the arrest of four men on felony weapon charges after they were allegedly being found with “AR-style rifles” and “ski-type masks.” In a written release, Detective Mike Hebert said that the men were arrested during a traffic stop in the 3600 block of Jimmy Johnson Boulevard, where officers searched the car and found three loaded semi-automatic handguns, one “AR-style rifle” and the ski masks. The suspects were identified as Derrion Daugherty, 23; Daseqrick Brooks, 26; Fabbian Scott, 23; and Isaac Martin, 28. Charges included possession of a firearm by a felon, evading detention with a previous conviction, unlawful carrying of a handgun on licensed premises and possession of a controlled substance. ....
Texas Man Shoots, Kills Robber Holding His Family at Gunpoint On 12/28/20 at 1:50 PM EST A man in Port Arthur, Texas, shot and killed one of three home invaders holding his family at gunpoint on Sunday evening. Sergeant Shannon Meaux of the Port Arthur Police Department said officers were called to the family s home at 8:31 p.m. on December 27, when they found one of the robbers dead at the scene. Police in Port Arthur, Texas, responded to a home invasion Sunday night. Getty Local television station WWL-TV, a CBS affiliate, aired video outside the scene. After they arrived to investigate the report of a home invasion and shooting, officers found Terence Ellies, 27, dead inside the home, Detective Mike Hebert said in a news release on Monday morning. The release also stated that Justice of the Peace Tom Gilliam III ordered an autopsy. ....
