On September 26, 2022, at approximately 2:00 pm, Fort Collins Police were notified of a serious collision between a Yamaha motorcycle and a GMC Sierra pickup truck at the intersection of E. Mulberry Street and Peterson Street. When officers arrived on scene, they discovered that the adult motorcycle rider had life threatening injuries. The motorcycle rider was later pronounced deceased. Due to the severity of the collision, the Fort Collins Police CRASH (Collision Reconstruction and Scene Handling) Team responded to take over the investigation.
