PfISD staff are holding public meetings over the next two weeks to get input from parents and community members on 10 proposals to redraw attendance boundaries for the 2023-2024 school year. Most of the proposals include the closure of two to three elementary schools.
The free meals are made possible by the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) program, which provides breakfast and lunch to all students at no charge at qualifying campuses.
As the school year ends, children across Texas often lose access to consistent, nutritious school meals, so with the USDA's summer meal programs, kids can continue to eat healthy throughout the summer at no cost.
