WINDHOEK, Feb. 10 (Xinhua) The walls and halls of the National Art Gallery of Namibia (NAGN) in the capital city Windhoek have been quiet since the COVID-19 outbreak, but the opening of a national art exhibition titled #WhatsYourStory on Tuesday evening is reviving the creative industry and drawing activity to the gallery.
The exhibition aims to support local artists, introduce creative works to the locals and the global community, and will open until March 27.
Desiree Nanuses, the acting chief curator at NAGN, said the art exhibition is the artists response to the effects of COVID-19.
