Burlington, IA- The Des Moines County Auditor's Office is reminding residents that absentee voting for the November General Election begins Wednesday, October 19th. In-person absentee voting at the Des Moines County Courthouse will start on Wednesday, October 19th, and end on Monday, November 7th. Residents can vote in person from 8 AM to 4:30 PM Monday through Friday. The Auditor's office will also be open for voting on Saturday, November 5th, from 9 AM to 5 PM. A photo ID is required to vote. The last day to request an absentee ballot by mail is Monday, October 24th. The Des Moines County Courthouse will be open for in-person voting from 8 AM to 4:30 PM Monday to Friday through June 3rd. The Courthouse will be open Saturday, June 4th, and Monday, June 6th is the last day for in-person absentee voting. Mail-in ballots must be delivered to the Auditor's Office by 8 PM June 7th. Burlington, IA- The Des Moines County Auditor's office has announced that absentee voting for the 2022 primary election begins May 18th. Absentee voting by mail begins may 18th and the last day to request a ballot to be mailed is Monday, May 23rd. In-person absentee voting begins Wednesday, May 18th at the Des Moines County Courthouse, and ends Monday, June 6th. Office hours are 8AM to 4:30 PM Monday through Friday. The Auditors office will be open for voting on Saturday, June 4th from 8 AM to 4 PM. A Photo ID is required to vote. A completed and signed absentee ballot request form is required before a ballot can be mailed. If a request form was received between March 29 th to May 18th, the ballot will be mailed on May 18th. By law, this is the first day the Auditor's office is allowed to begin mailing ballots that were previously requested for the 2022 Primary. Then, for the next 5 days, we will mail ballots within 24 hours of receiving the Absentee Ballot Request Form. Any ....
