As part of its grand opening celebration, Units of Central Iowa, a moving and portable storage company, will have a 16-foot storage container outside Principal Park where they re collecting healthy, low-sugar cereal that will be given to the Des Moines Area Religious Council Food Pantry.
Boxes can be dropped off outside the stadium at the Units storage container no ticket to the game is required to donate. Cash donations will also be accepted.
The Iowa Cubs host the St. Paul Saints at 7:08 Saturday.
Fans can also continue to support the DMARC Food Pantry by bringing food donations to Cubs Sunday home games. A donation of three food items earns one general admission ticket.
