are looking at wet weather. ahead of the front we have the breezy winds, mid and upper 50s this afternoon with the rain showers. look for about 60 noontime and the rain pushes into the south bay. by the afternoon in the monterey bay. the second half of the weekend looking dry but monday has a stronger system headed our way. i ll tell you about it coming up. katie. lisa, thank you. and developing news out of southern california. a 5.1 magnitude earthquake and more than 100 after shocks have been occurring. reporter: the quake did more than rattle nerves, it sent bodles and mirrors crashing to the ground. i thought it was going to end. it was big enough. magnitude 5.1. the epicenter, south of los angeles in orange county, the o.c., near the city of la ha haub hab raw. it did trigger a small rock slide that overturned this car. the driver is okay. a few water main breaks were also blamed on the quake. the ground shoot just after friday night in the 6th inning of the
live from the kgo broadcast center, violent road rage leads to a brutal beating so severe witnesses thought the victim might die. and now an exec is accused of taking that too far. it happened in mill valley. nick smith is there live tonight with the story. nick? reporter: dan, carolyn, good evening. mill valley police tell me that last wednesday s assault is still part of an active investigation. they say several witnesses called 911 begging police to get to the scene because the beating that that 40-year-old tech was putting on the victim was so severe they feared for his life. there needs to be some sort of better system, better bike lanes. reporter: he s talking about this stretch of the avenue where narrow lanes make it deaf for vehicles and cyclists it share the road. i think that there should be, like, bike lanes. and they should be huge. and we should be protected. reporter: mill valley police tell me they arrested 40 year old jeffrey in this video.
