AEW Dark: );
Hardy would start the match asking JAH-C if he was sure he wanted to have the match, and perhaps he should have taken Hardy up on his offer. Making his AEW debut, JAH-C got very little in as far as offence goes. Hardy locked in The Leach after two Side-Effects for the win. During the match, Hardy would also take the time to mock his Fyter Fest opponent Christian Cage, by doing his own incarnation of the 5-second pose.
Brian Cage defeats Foxx Vinyer via pinfall: );
Another AEW debut, as Foxx Vinyer made his first appearance in the company. Vinyer would get in less than a handful of moves on Cage, before he was defeated. Brian Cage would lift him up before planting Vinyer down with the Drill Claw for the win.

Let’s jump into this week’s episode of AEW Dark.
Matt Hardy (13-3) vs. Jah-C (AEW debut)
The Hardy Family Office is huge, isn’t it? I don’t think you realize it until they’re all in the ring at the same time. I’m all for it eventually leading to a Butcher, Blade, and Bunny destroying everyone. Jah-C knew what he was walking into, as Matt was on a mission and even started throwing the mounted punches to show his anger. Matt then forced Jah-C to tap at 3:58.
AEW Dark recap (July 13, 2021): Big Swole and Diamante war of words
Share this story
Episode 97 of
AEW Dark featured a feud brewing between Big Swole and Diamante, Matt Hardy gearing up to take his moment against Christian Cage, and a new finisher from the Dark Order.
A feud is boiling in the women’s division. Diamante called out Big Swole, so Swole responded with words not fit for television.
It began when Diamante cut a promo (at 20:05) dissing Big Swole. Diamante had has a pretty eventful year, and she has stepped up where it matters. Who else has stepped up? The question was a way for Diamante to take a shot at Swole.
Me last week: “Well, hopefully it’s the last time Dark is 17 matches.”
This week, it’s 18 matches.
Your hosts are Excalibur and Taz. This was taped in Jacksonville, Florida, with no fans, which is probably good because this amount of matches would burn out an actual crowd.
Matt Hardy defeated Jah-C (3:58)
Congratulations to Hardy, whose wife gave birth to their fourth child this week. But he absolutely does not need to get extra reps at this point in a 25-year career. Hardy got the win via tapout after a pair of Side Effects and the Leech (guillotine choke and bodyscissors) to ruin Jah-C s promotional debut.
