alexandria. according to the victim s mother, she believed her son was gunned down this morning because people on the street thought he was responsible for killing a man on june 8th. she said last night s killer got it wrong. it s truly, truly sad that our young people would rather take a life than let the police or god take vengeance. reporter: her son knew clark, the man killed blocks away. park allegedly shot hall in the spring of 2015. here we are. reporter: police were and are investigating hall in connection with clark s homicide. pursuant to their investigation, paul s mother said police busted down her door in the middle of the night. sounded like a bomb just exploded in here. reporter: police never charged hall but his mother says the damage had been done. she believes the department s public inquiry in to her son s potential connection in the earlier homicide placed a bounty of revenge on her head. it s sad that the children of their fathers, mothers
