Attacking with no basis. really geared to that audience of one. so i do think it s very frightening to see even leadership, you know, trying to politicize this instead of having everyone calm down. i would like to say, though, that you did see earlier this summer senate leaders come together and try and calm this down when they worked on the gun legislation, so i would like to commend senator murphy, senator cornyn, who realized that things had gotten out of hand, whether it s domestic terrorism or crime in the cities, they came together and worked on that gun legislation. and we need to have leaders working like that on these domestic terrorism threats. we need to give more money to the fbi to work on the domestic terrorist threats and not defund the police, more money in our cities so that people like eric adams in new york city can work on the crime problem. stuart, explain the work of deradicalization, because i imagine one portion of it is ....

January 6th ever be trusted with any position of authority in our great nation again. who is she posing that question to? who is she suggesting take action there? i think what she s doing is saying, there s no two trumps. in other words, so many people justified their votes and people who voted for him two times even, republicans who would support the agenda, there is no two trumps. there is no trump, i like his supreme court picks, trump, i like his policies on the economics, and crazy trump. right, this is trump. he is undermining our democracy, and they re basically just focused on that. and i think that s really important because then whatever happens with the party is whatever happens with the party, but what you want to do in terms of any deradicalization effort is make sure more people don t join violence. in other words, you want the leader to look like he s isolated. that s how violence grows is that the leader looks like he s a winner, and whether you call ....

trump liked kellogg. i think that was important also when you pair it with what mark milley, the chairman of the joint chiefs of staff testified, which was he said there was an effort that day, we need to get rid of this narrative that pence is in charge, you know. we need to make sure people think it is trump. but, really, as the committee illustrated last night, trump wasn t doing anything from the oval office study he was sitting in right outside the oval office, and it was all of these calls and the scramble of who is in charge of this, who is calling the national guard, who is coordinating this response? and you heard not just that from keith kellogg, but also from pat cipollone, the white house counsel at the time, he could not recall any conversations that trump made to assist in that effort. when you trump is pushing back, using this point, saying that he did call that he blames nancy pelosi for not granting one of his requests, but he is pushing back on this notion that ....

Lies out. we have to speak out against mistruth. what s wrong is wrong. and i would i would have more respect for individuals that didn t perpetuate lies but just more so said that they didn t care about the truth. it s really it s so infuriating that these people just they create these narratives that don t even exist, that have been debunked over and over and over again. i would just have more respect for them if they just said they just don t care about the truth, rather than just pushing lies. right. or just own it, right? lies help me get where i m going. this came up, and it involved you, an image that was seen around the world, and i know you fielded questions, i m sorry for asking you again, but what are we to make of an insurrectionist like mr. ayres remorse? it seems that on the front of deradicalization, it s important that he doesn t believe the things that he believed to the ....

Even to this a couple times now. but talk a little bit more about the connection between what happened in idaho, what s you have heard when you are in georgia. well, it is the same line this far-right group using this sort of required movement between election silos to recruit new members. chris buckley, the former kkk member who is now helping deradicalization who is, we cannot just incarcerate we cannot prosecute our way out of this problem. sure, there are dangerous actors who do need to face the full wrath of the fbi, the doj. but also, there needs to be a kind of mental health approach to this information a crisis in america. this level of delusion is dangerous! those in idaho may well have had the worst of intense. they are recruiting others who are naive, vulnerable, and who ....
