The extension works in favor of all the interested candidates who would have been locked out by the initial deadline which was to end on February 26, 2021.
In reference to a notice given on January 21, 2021 by the National Elections Board (NEB), the party had called for submission of applications by individuals who wished to vie for presidential candidacy using the party s ticket in the 2022 general elections.
