Sheriff Keith Korenek reports activities of Fayette County Sheriff Deputies for the month of March 2021. Deputy Ben Wilson spoke to an individual in Fayette County who was reportedly harassing another person out-of-state. The suspect was warned and no further issues were reported. Wilson also responded to Business 71 near State Highway 71 for an abandoned vehicle. The vehicle was impounded and the last registered owner was notified by mail.
Investigator Marc Bennett is currently investigating a burglary of a weekend home in the Cistern area where numerous firearms were stolen. Bennett also spoke to a resident in the county who reported a scam of a lottery winning. Sergeant Ron Naumann is investigating juveniles trespassing in the Fayetteville area where they were caught on camera. Sergeant Charles Jobb responded to Stuermer’s Store in Ledbett ....
