Rutgers’ 2022 recruiting class is off to a fast start, ranked 10th in the country and fourth in the Big Ten in the early stages of the rankings, per 247Sports.com. There are seven players committed thus far and others who could join the class soon. Meet DePaul (Wayne, N.J.) edge Q’yaeir Price, one of the top players in North Jersey.
A 6-2, 247-pounder, Price is still growing, and can flat-out play. He has a high-motor and plays with good leverage and strong, active hands. He gets off blocks, into the backfield and disrupts plays. He has good twitch, plays fast, hard and is a physical tackler. He also has good football instincts.
