I live in a small town (30,000), Los Altos in Northern California, and it is sad to see lots of small businesses close and an Italian restaurant we have gone to for over fifty years go out of business. At Christmas I called a small shop, Presents, www.present.com and gave the owners, Jim Daley and Jim Reynolds the names of friends and how much to spend and asked them put together baskets for me taking care of my Christmas presents. Shipping was done. Main Street is three blocks long, and this great shop at 127 was popular with my staff at the Travel Agency. I turned my nose up when I learned most of the staff bought jars of Funky Chunky. I now go in regularly to buy a jar of Funky Chunky, peanut butter cup since my husband who is in a wheelchair, loves it. I was told the stuff is addictive, and it is. I am a caregiver, and fed up cooking, making beds and cleaning bathrooms. ....
