Passengers have been waiting for, demanding from the airline industry, in fact? well, these are very important changes. and i have to give the department of transportation credit. these are most sweeping passenger service changes to take place since deregulation. passengers have far more rights today than they did yesterday. so that s a great thing. some areas that they haven t quite gone far enough in in terms of how i think we re waiting to find out what the ancillary and extra airline fees are. we d like to know that when shopping from any travel agent to compare fees across airlines. you mean laying out all of the charges there so you don t get this faux price when trying to book? exactly. this rule making says that the airlines have to put charges on their website. but what that ends up doing is it takes people who are working on expedia, travelocity, priceline or orbits and we have to go back and forth between the air fares on the airline on ....
