A new report by the Climate & Applied Forest Research Institute (CAFRI) and SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry (ESF) outlines the development of a map-based carbon accounting system and how it can be an essential tool for New York state to achieve its net-zero emissions target by 2050.

ESF Announces Graduation Weekend Schedule Two ceremonies to take place at St. Joseph s Health Amphitheater at Lakeview 5/11/2021 The College of Environmental Science and Forestry (ESF) will confer approximately 421 degrees during two Commencement ceremonies Saturday, May 15, at the St. Joseph s Health Amphitheater at Lakeview, Syracuse. The morning ceremony, beginning at 10 a.m., will be for students graduating from the departments of Environmental Resources Engineering, Environmental Studies, Landscape Architecture, Sustainable Resources Management, and the Open Academy. The afternoon ceremony will begin at 3 p.m. for students graduating from the departments of Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Environmental Biology, and Environmental Science. During the ceremony, ESF will confer approximately 375 bachelor s degrees, with about 46 students receiving master s and doctoral degrees.
