Rescuers pulled more than a dozen people to safety as water surrounded their homes. I am fine. The house completely flooded out. Propane tank flipped over. More fire inside the house. Shocked at how quickly the water rose. This morning the worst of the storm is over and moving into southern canada, but freezig cold temperatures are still keeping people indoors. The man accused of plotting a tack on pier 39 is facing charges on terror charges. Everitt Aaron Jameson will be in court today. He made homemade pipe bombs. The indictment says jameson told undercover fbi agents he wanted to attack pier ....

Now speaking of concord we have an issue on the northbound 242 ramp for the entire corrector ramp shut down due to an accident. Im not seeing a lot of slow traffic there. They do have ambulance and emergency crews on scene so hopefully theyll get that ramp reopened and back to normal. You can take 680 to westbound highway 4 and avoid this problem from northbound to westbound 4. At the live desk still keeping tabs on that big winter storm back east. It continues right now as we approach the 11 00 hour. We are going to see some pockets of some heavy rain and ive also been watching heavy rain moving closer to the Santa Cruz Mountains. As we get a look at san jose, it is pretty much covered with a moderate downpour. And where we see the yellow indicates some heavier pockets of rain moving through south city and San Francisco. Also across the Golden Gate Bridge and then we go into the north bay where weve seen some rain that has been quite heavy at times with rainfall rates up to 1 4 of an inch of rain per hour. Mostly a steady light rain in parts of the bay area. Heavy rain in oakland and san leandro, moving off towards the north and east.
