That a Superintendent Search and brought a divided school together. I believe you bring the pieces of usf together too because you have personal experience. You know what its like to be a student. You attended that campus before. So i understand that you can sympathize with how the students need to have a place to learn, to navigate and develop alongside others. But you can also sympathize with the teachers, too, right . Because you not only were a k12 teacher, youre also a Community College instructor as well. You know what its like to teach with care, to have colleagues supporting the school and to help students. And i believe you care about education, because you have a degree in education and served on the board of education, too. The cuts are not inconsequential to you. Mostly i believe in you because ocean campus is in your district. Since you have gone from being a student to a Community College teacher to finally a San Francisco supervisor, i believe you wont turn us away. Be t

He has been a practicing physician on Infectious Diseases for 37 years. He practiced in california before coming to d. C. Where he has been active speaking for the National Museum of civil war medicine. He frequently lectures civil war groups. We are thankful to have him speak to us tonight. Hes a member of the board of directors of the society of civil war surgeons and public concerning, he is what we call a switch hitter he does reenacting as a physician in the civil war for confederate and union soldiers. Going to happen here and its a terrible thing. Im not under im not trying to diminish the importance, but the worst Case Scenario would be after all these hearings are over and the c. U. Is approved but a variance is denied, that the permit holder sometime, probably in the beginning of 2021, because thats how long its going to take, is going to have to cutoff 5 feet of the house and go back to go back to what the original program was. The Planning Commission would have the ability to make other modifications to the project. They could reduce the height of it, they could reduce the extension. Im hesitant to give that information to the appellant because the commission can and has in other cases, you know, had them go back to what was there before. In this case, i think what at least weighs in their favor is what was there before was a legal noncomplying structure. With a book. Welcome to fords theatre. We honestly, i am blown away. The response. I am so thrilled to see all of your lovely faces in the house tonight. Thank you so much for being here. My name is erika scott and im the artistic programing manager here at theater. And im alex wood. Im the Education Programs manager at fords theater. And we are to present written spoke. Yes, written then spoken now African American letters to lincoln. So for the two of us up here, typically you dont get two people to come talk to the house before a program happens. But this is a special this is the first of its kind. We have never done an elevated im calling it an elevated book to where we have our historians and actors to be part of the play. But at fords theatre like to think of ourselves as left and right side of one brain. We have the history aspect and arts aspect, and thats what and i represent and that is what you all are getting tonight. So its a very, very event. And again, so glad to see so
