January 21, 2021 Global personal protective equipment (PPE) supplier Medicom is set to acquire dental distributor Loser & Co. of Leverkusen, Germany, in a bid to expand into European dental markets.
Medicom sells surgical and respiratory masks as well as other infection control products to a wide range of markets, including medical and dental. Through the new deal, Medicom said its portfolio gains a wide range of dental brands sold throughout Europe for almost 30 years.
Medicom has offices in Canada, North America, Europe, Asia, and Australia. The acquisition will help the company expand its sales coverage across Europe, while furthering its ambitions in the global dental market, Medicom said in a statement.
