The National Overseas Scholarship is a government scholarship offered to low-income students from various categories for pursuing their Masters and Ph.D. programs abroad in diverse fields. Thirty percent of the scholarships are reserved for female students. The eligibility criteria include a minimum of 55% at the undergraduate and master s level, a family income limit of INR 6,00,000, and the candidate s age below 35 years.
