Leamington Raceway hosted the 2023 season finale on Sunday, Nov. 5 with a ten-race card to close out the season's action. Fox Valley Ontario headlined the card with a victory in the $7,000 Preferred 4, while Garrett Rooney and George Robinson topped the card as driver and trainer, respectively.
Hiawatha Horse Park's meet-leading driver Garrett Rooney and four-year-old mare Global News won the Preferred Trot featured on the final card of the season in Sarnia, Ont. on Saturday night, Sept. 23.
In the two $8,500 divisions and fourth leg of the Prospect Series for sophomore trotting fillies on Saturday (Aug. 12) evening at Hiawatha Horse Park, Savannahs Dream and Its Sally Deal took home victories in their respective splits.
