Worland started post season with a 13-4 record having won six in a row that included a 36-34 win over a Wyoming top ranked team in the Lander Valley Lady Tigers. Worland would first take on a Lovell team that the Lady Warriors had already defeated twice in the regular season. 62-25 and 52-23. Ask any coach they will all say beating a team three times in a season is a very tall order. The opening round of the Wyoming 3A Quad Championships was a elimination game. No matter your regular season record. Failure or success. No game mattered more. ....
Written by Chance Bond on February 10, 2021 After a reschedule of a game that was originally suppose to be Saturday the Lady Warriors and Hot Springs County would meet on the court Tuesday in Warrior Gymnasium. The Lady Warriors would start what will be their finally five games of the season. All five games are rematches. The Lady Bobcats were Worland’s first game of the season. The Lady Warriors won that game by ten 60-50. The Lady Bobcats were 3-11 coming into the game and 0-4 in the Northeast Quad. Slow start for the Lady Warriors although they would never trail in the game. A game that would not have their starting point guard in Brooke Wright. Tymberlynn Crippen would take that roll. Crippen would hit a three pointer in the opening period as the Lady warriors would take a 14-7 first period lead. ....
Written by Chance Bond on February 6, 2021 After a loss to Lander which the Lady Warriors were only able to score 29 points. Worland was able to score 50 plus for two consecutive wins. The 52-50 Friday night win in Buffalo didn’t come easy. Defensively Denali Jones played as well as she had all season in the low post. Buffalo was trying to work the paint with Danica Boyce. Jones would hold Boyce to 2 points in the first period. All 12 of the first period points for the Lady Warriors came from within the paint. Darla Hernandez had eight. Jones and Ajaih Montoya would each score a bucket. Worland would end the first with a five point lead 12-7. ....

The offensive explosion that Worland would display was exactly what was needed. Not a single Lady Warrior had over nine points on Thursday. Different story on Saturday in Rawlins. The Lady Outlaws came into the game Saturday with a 2-7 record. Tymberlynn Crippen was again on fire from the three point line. She made three consecutive three point shots in the first period. Brook Wright also made a three pointer to open the ball game. Worland had 19 points in the first period. ....
