Grateful and humbled by the overwhelming support in my district. as you all know and as viewers know we just went through redistricting in every congressional district across the country. it was a particular battle in new york state so i had new constituents that i m honored to earn the support and of course constituents who i have represented for a long time. we ran on our r0rd of results. also proud to help lead the effort to pick up a number of seats for republicans in new york state. steve: right. congratulations. the republicans did pick up some seats in new york state. but, what happened to the red wave, congresswoman? we thought this morning we would be talking about how clearly the republicans had the majority in the house. didn t know about the senate. but we thought for sure in the house and still it s unknown. well, steve, as we re looking at some of these races, we feel confident that we re going to win the house. and we will fire nancy pelosi and there will be a republ ....

Newt, good morning to you. good morning. looks like down in georgia ticket-splitting because people presumably republicans or independence, the people who voted for brian kemp did not also vote for herschel walker or else herschel would be further ahead. right? yeah. i think, first of all, governor kemp, like many republican governors, had a big night. probably spent the end of stacey abrams clear if politics. i think that herschel did not get all the votes that the governor did obviously. that race would be over. so, it looks like it s going to go to a run off. governor kemp has a huge ability, i think, to influence that runoff. and this will be the second time that warnock has ended up in a run off. i don t know what that says about how narrow the margins are in georgia. but everywhere in the country governors had a big night. kemp is an example. look at the scale of the republican governor victories. ....
