(MURFREESBORO) It was 34-years ago that Jim and Doris Demos opened the legendary Demos’ Steak and Spaghetti House at 1115 NW Broad Street. Over the years the eatery’s name has been simplified to Demos’. Now they also are located in Lebanon and Hendersonville.
Jim loved the restaurant business and at age 9 he was working at his family’s restaurant in Birmingham.
Later he worked as manager of a Bristol movie theatre, but still had the love for the restaurant business.
