The Delhi cabinet has approved the extension of the Delhi Electric Vehicle Policy until December 31, 2023, or until the notification of Policy 2.0, whichever comes first. This extension period will continue to offer incentives and subsidies under the existing policy. The Delhi Transport Minister has also announced that two-vehicle aggregator schemes, aimed at transitioning to electric vehicles by 2030, are in their final stages and will soon be sent for approval.
