why there was no police security in this school at all when my grandson was threatened yesterday with a gun. reporter: the school district says the police were unaware that the principal told parents they would see extra protection this morning. an officer was stationed here at dismissal time. school principal david laver had no comments. parents say gun or no gun the kids need more police protection. there aren t police officers. they say there s no funding for public school. as a parent we do need security. reporter: parents what about the more police but they also say there s never been any trouble at this school. philadelphia police have not filed any charges in this case but they say they are still investigating. live in north philadelphia, david henry, channel6 action news. rick. all right, david, thank you. students turned out by the hundreds at villanova university to protest the school s decision to add armed officers to the campus security force. ....
