COVID Clinic, Inc., a new rapid-test site, will be in the Lakewood Center parking lot along Del Amo Blvd., just south of the DaVita Clinic building.
Appointments must be made in advance at www.covidclinic.org. The site will be open seven days a week from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Test results will usually be available within an hour.
This is not a free, publicly run test site. It is a privately operated facility, specializing in rapid results, which many people find valuable for their particular situation. Test costs start at $99, but many insurance plans pay part of the cost.
