Unilever’s deodorant brand Degree, also called Rexona, Sure and Shield, has launched Degree Inclusive. It is the world’s first inclusive deodorant for people with visual impairment and upper limb motor disabilities: Degree Inclusive.
Across the beauty and personal care industry, there is currently no deodorant product suitable for people with upper limb disabilities. Twisting the deodorant cap, turning the stick, or pushing down on an aerosol is a real challenge for those with limited arm mobility. Sometimes, the fear of sweating keeps people with disabilities from moving as much as they would like to. ....

Degree launches deodorant for people with disabilities


The personal care brand announced the launch of Degree Inclusive this week 
Degree also released a campaign video for the launch, in which the product is seen being used by a blind woman, and a man with upper limb disabilities 
The deodorant s packaging has been designed in collaboration with several different disability groups, including the Muscular Dystrophy Association 
200 people with varying disabilities have been invited to trial the prototype design, and their feedback will be used to make final changes to the product 
Degree Inclusive will then be launched to the public, with a brand spokesperson revealing that it hopes the release will spark an increase in similar products  ....

Unilever has prototype packaging for its inclusive deodrant products out for 200 beta users now. The package has a hook and magnetic closures to make it easier to access and braille labels.
Consumer products giant Unilever is launching a prototype of what it says is the world s first deodorant for people with visual impairment sand upper-limb motor disabilities under the name Degree Inclusive.
