A new Sprouts Farmers Market is sprouting along the Phoenix-Glendale border near Arizona State University s West campus and will feature an opening day discount for shoppers.
The store will open July 21 in the Deer Valley Shopping Center, 4201 Thunderbird Road.
The opening will come two days after the Sprouts store three miles to the southwest, near Peoria and 51st avenues, shutters. 
The new store is 25,000 square feet, which is slightly smaller than the 30,600 square-foot store that is closing.
David McGlinchey, Sprouts chief format officer, says décor and department updates, signs and the smaller footprint will be easier for shoppers to navigate.  ....
