It looks like a tropical storm is brewing out there right now. it s in an area of interest in the western atlantic ocean. there s a 40% chance a storm will become a tropical depression or a tropical storm by friday. already affecting oil spill operations out there. and speaking of oil spill operations, we all know how they re doing their best to mop things up. but before the well blew, lloyds of london essentially, one of their divisions sent some consultants out on to the rig and polled the audience there of the workers to say how is everything going? do you feel safe? is everything working the way it s supposed to? and the answers are surprising but a lot of people said no, you know what? some of this equipment is not working right. and we re worried about reprisals if we report that there are problems. so before the actual explosion took place, they did a confidential survey just to see how deepwater discovery was doing and everyone was saying the thing is not functioning ....
