Hawkers, buses, autos and toto drivers have taken over the main entrance of Howrah Maidan Metro station in Kolkata. The area, which was supposed to be a swanky Metro station, is now cluttered with temporary bus stands and hawkers. The East-West Metro project, including the under-river tunnels, has been completed, but the station entrance remains blocked.
