Stuttgart High School senior Grace Earl received an American Legion Auxiliary Youth Good Deed Award after she created over 300 Veterans Day cards for patients at the veterans’ hospital in Little Rock. Earl was nominated on behalf of the American Legion Department of Arkansas.
Dyan Bohnert, the Children and Youth Chairman for the American Legion Auxiliary Daniel Harder Unit 48 in Stuttgart, presented the award to Earl at her school on Friday, April 16.
Charlotte Purdy, Children and Youth Chairman for the American Legion Department of Arkansas, learned about Earl’s story after reading a Stuttgart Daily Leader article written about her Veterans Day efforts.   ....
