first they have to map all the pieces. that of course could be an enormous job, just finding out where all the pieces of the plane might be scattered under water. after that it s sort of lifting one piece out by crane and with the help of divers and they try to get it all assembled at least until they find the voice recorders, and that might help them know a little bit more about what happened here. and then they would have the opportunity to take select pieces out as they try to reconstruct the plane to show exactly what happened. it s very complex process. as you know using divers at that depth, it can takt quite a while because they have to use decompression chambers because those divers can only stay down for so long. joe johns, thanks so much. one other factor that s complicating all this is the weather, extremely heavy seas right now. let s get a sense of how that is ....
