The debt ceilinging is going to come up. if we don t come together instead of fighting peripheral political issues that aren t going to get us anywhere, we just had an election. i mean we re not going to we re not going into a presidential election. we just had a presidential election. so our only difference on that i agree with bill some of us would say these other issues are not peripheral. when we re receiving phone calls from constituents saying they ve been laid off because of the affordable health care act when in our own state, you had one of the largest insurers saying 50,000 people are not going to get insurance because of the health care act. home depot laying off insurance 20,000, u.p.s. in my district, as well, 15,000 people. trying to part time america ten years ago, that s the company. this is a company telling spouses since congressman pascrell, you brought up the debt ceiling, i m going to hold you to a firm booking 17 days from now, ....

House leadership go through the motions, which they re not even done with tonight or i guess early this morning, they re still going to have another vote, probably the next few hours to revote on what they did earlier tonight and then say there should be negotiations effectively which the senate said give me a break. this is nonnegotiable. it s really up in the air and depends how the markets react in the morning when they open and the kind of blowback that members of congress, particularly republicans get because democrats have made it very clear they are not budging, nothing. they will not give up on anything that is not a clean no strings attached bill to fund the government. they feel that just when it comes to basic negotiations, if they give in on this which is just a six-week bill to get the government open, they are going to be completely in a horrible position when it comes to the big negotiations on the debt ceilinging in a few weeks which of course, if that doesn t work out, ....
