hospitality, people seem to be just moving forward and spending differently i guess. but then you have this potential defaults on the government debt. explain to me what that means i guess for the average consumer. are they worried about that yet or does that seem like a washington insider baseball at this point? they are worried but it is hard for the average consumer to actually grasp what that would mean for the economy and for the individual. so they are worried about it because they know they should be worried about it, but i think it is hard to see how it will impact at the individual level because we haven t seen it. if there were to be a debt ceiling breach and protracted problem, you d see consumer spending fall for sure. recession for sure and just devastating. claire, thank you so much. and we now have an idea when florida governor ron desantis will say outloud that he is running for president.
