TRIBUNJATENG.COM, SEMARANG - Rencana pemerintah soal penerapan pajak pertambahan nilai (PPN) pada barang kebutuhan pokok memunculkan kekhawatiran bagi para pedagang di Kota Semarang.
Rencana perluasan objek PPN tertuang dalam Draf Revisi Kelima Undang-Undang Nomor 6 Tahun 1983 tentang Ketentuan Umum dan Tata Cara Perpajakan (RUU KUP).
Dalam rencana aturan baru itu, Pasal 4A draf RUU KUP sembako dihapus dalam kelompok barang yang tak dikenai PPN, di samping jasa seperti pelayanan kesehatan medis yang juga dihapus dari jenis jasa yang tidak dikenakan PPN.
