CLEVELAND — The NFL draft is likely to bring a big tourism boost to Cleveland next week and establishments all over downtown are gearing up to host fans and spectators.
But there’s just one problem with that, many businesses in the hospitality industry are facing a worker shortage, like LULO Kitchen and Juice Bar.
Chef Stephanie Guerra and her husband Mario Montoya opened the restaurant a month and a half ago.

Rocket Mortgage employs nearly 700 people in Cleveland, at offices in the Higbee Building in the heart of downtown. The mortgage giant plans to create 700 new jobs here over the next five years, in a deal that hinges on securing incentives from the city, state and JobsOhio.
Rocket Mortgage, the mortgage giant formerly known as Quicken Loans, is eyeing an expansion that would bring 700 new jobs to downtown Cleveland over the next five years.
The Detroit-based company already employs nearly 700 people at its Cleveland office, a mortgage banking hub tucked inside the Higbee Building just off Public Square. Local economic development officials have been working on an incentive package to double that headcount in a deal that would create more than $50 million in additional payroll and bring welcome investment to a central business district grappling with fallout from the pandemic. ....
