A Knob Noster man has been sentenced to two decades in jail for his role in the death of an 18-year-old female last August and the State has dismissed the charges against a Warrensburg man charged in connection to the same incident.
According to the Warrensburg Police Department, Evan R. Lannigan, of Warrensburg, who is now 26, and 28-year-old Christian J. Harrison, of Knob Noster, were charged in connection to the shooting-death of Maliyah Lakey on August 1, 2020.
After responding to a residence to investigate a shooting, officers discovered three shooting victims. The other two victims were transported to an area hospital for treatment of what appeared to be non life-threatening injuries from gunshots.
