A Poole town centre car park has been cordoned off after a double stabbing this morning. Two men suffered stab wounds in the incident which took place in the Dear Hay Lane multi-storey car park in Poole. The car park remains cordoned off while crime scene investigators examine the scene. Officers have been seen searching bins in the area as well, said an eyewitness. A full investigation is underway, led by detectives from Bournemouth CID. A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: We were called at 4.31am by the ambulance service to reports of a stabbing in the area of the Dear Hay Lane multi-storey car park in Poole. ....
Nearby residents said they heard a commotion around the same time, with people shouting and swearing. One resident, who asked not to be named, said: We do get people milling around the stairwells at the car park at all hours. It wasn t a huge shock to see all of the police tape and the police cars this morning. Other neighbours told the Daily Echo police officers had been searching bins in the area afterwards. The scene remained sealed off under police guard on Monday morning. Forensics officers were also present, carrying out a detailed search of the area. TWO men have been stabbed during a violent attack in Poole town centre in the early hours. Both of the victims suffered stab wounds to their upper body and have been taken to hospital for treatment. Police, who say the injuries are not thought to be life threatening, have not released details of exactly what caused the stab wounds to the pair. Meanwhile, two other men have been arrested on suspicion of causing GBH and are helping detectives with their enquires. Police were called to the multi-storey car park at the corner of Hill Street and Dear Hay Lane just after 4.30am on Monday morning. ....
