Northampton Magistrates Court ■ The following cases were heard on April 22 Tiffany Jade Miller, aged 20, of Burleigh Road, Northampton, three charges of assaulting emergency workers, criminal damage of body-worn video camera; community order made with alcohol treatment and rehabilitation activity requirement, pay compensation of £459, surcharge to fund victim services £90, costs £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service. Aaron Spencer Blundall, aged 37, of Wessex Lane, Towcester, drug-driving; disqualified 12 months, fined £276,surcharge £34, costs £85. Theodore Sterling, aged 34, of Pembroke Road, Northampton, failed to comply with requirements of a community order; fined £40, costs £60. James Alexander Weir, aged 29, of Freehold Street, Northampton, possession of class B drug cannabis; discharged conditionally for six months,surcharge £22, costs £85.

(Chris Abbott/Norfolk and Tillsonburg News) Article content Tillsonburg Firefighter Association donated $2,500 to the Helping Hand Food Bank on Dec. 12 during the first weekend of the food bank’s drive-thru 12 Days of Giving food drive. Last year, the firefighters – supported by dispatchers –sponsored six families for Christmas, purchasing toys, clothing, food, and necessities, a tradition they started in 2015. This year they decided to donate funds to the local food bank.
