Westerhouse recently sold her Sandwich home and is relocating to the North Shore. But with Zoom, phones and the internet, she ll still remain active as a board member and development coordinator for the organization. The Sandwich Arts Alliance began six years ago, back when we were all going to meetings to talk about the future of both the Wing School and the Clark Haddad Building, she tells Snyder s Sandwich. Town officials would ask gatherings about how to use the buildings. Although many good suggestions were made, the town officials kept asking. It occurred to me that maybe they were asking if there was a group that would find uses, manage events, etc., and that made me realize that there was no voice for the arts in Sandwich.
