Police in Gqeberha are investigating a case of culpable homicide after a man died when he drove head-on into the boundary wall of a house in Westering on Saturday afternoon.
Police spokesperson Captain Andre Beetge said the driver, who has been identified as Nicholas Mattheus, believed to be in his 60s, had been declared dead at the scene.
Homeowner Abdul de Maine was standing outside his garage with a friend when he witnessed what he described as a freak accident.
