DDC Clinic Center for Special Needs Children, a clinic for children with rare genetic disorders in Middlefield, has announced that Business Manager Patti Gallagher has been promoted to operations director. In that position, Gallagher will oversee day-to-day operations; manage the organizationâs $1.45 million budget; liaison with board members, and volunteers and private and public-sector leaders, according to a news release. She also will work in tandem with Medical Director and CEO Dr. Heng Wang to represent DDC Clinic in the communities it serves. Gallagher began her tenure in 2006, having previously worked as a banker and operations manager for National City Bank. Committed to serving those in need, she has served on the boards of Enhanced Hope Foundation, Metzenbaum Foundation and Metzenbaum Sheltered Industries for years and chaired the Quilt and Craft Auction at Metzenbaum Center, the release stated. ....
