In November, while the single bench of Bombay High Court said that Nawab Malik had tweeted due to malice as the defamatory remarks started after his son-in-law came out on bail, the court, however, had refused to pass an injunction against the cabinet minister.
Maharashtra minister Nawab Malik took to Twitter on Sunday to post a photograph of what he insinuated was NCB officer Sameer Wankhede's nikah. He has alleged that Wankhede was born a Muslim and forged his caste certificate to get into the civil services.
A petition has been filed before the Bombay High Court challenging the appointment of Zonal Director of Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), Sameer Wankhede via Schedule Caste (SC) quota in Indian Revenue Services.
