Easter meal giveaway, drive-thru Easter egg hunt offered across metro Share Updated: 10:53 AM CDT Apr 3, 2021 WAPT Share Updated: 10:53 AM CDT Apr 3, 2021 Communities are coming together the day before Easter pandemic-style.The Greater Jackson Arts Council, the City of Jackson Parks and Rec Department, and other community groups will be handing out 500 honey baked hams along with vegetables, cases of bottled water and Easter treat bags for kids ages 8 and younger.This event in addition to a drive-thru Easter egg hunt that will support those affected by the pandemic and the winter storm back in February.The giveaway will be at the VA Legion Softball Complex from 11 a.m. until supplies run out.
